instead of using “shop style collective” can i use “reward style”?

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Jenn, sure! The exact same features are also possible by using rewardStyle.

    Hi Phil,
I have the aruba nights template and it seems like my images on the post slider are blurry. I take my pictures with a nikon dslr and a kit lens 18-105mm. Is it normal ?
    Thank you for your time.

    Hi Pipdig,
Can a “shop my wardrobe” gadget be added to other templates such as Aqaue on Blogger? I’d like to purchase Aquae since it fits the look I’m going for. 🙂 Thank you so much for your help and taking the time to read this!
    Best,
    Helen

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Helen, yes this should be no problem. You could add the widget to the header, sidebar or footer sections 🙂

  4. Ashley

I accidentally deleted my shop the post gadget from the template. how do I get it back?

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Ashley, if you re-install the template it will bring back the gadget. You’ll keep all your content and gadgets that are already in place.

    Hi,

It won’t let me sign up to ShopStyleCollective – is it because I have ‘.blogspot.co.uk’ in my URL? When I try sign up, it comes up with ‘The Authorization header must be specified’ and I have no clue what this means.

    Please advise, thank you.

    Laura

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Laura, that error message sounds like it is a temporary problem with Shopstyle itself. If you try again tomorrow it might work correctly. If not, you should contact their support team so they can assist you with signing up.

        Hi Phil,

Thanks for your quick response! I’ve been trying for about a week and experience the issue each time. I’ll contact the support team, thank you!

  6. Elise

I’ve downloaded the Holly and Weave theme then added this widget. The widget size is perfect when viewed on a computer or laptop however, it appears too large for the page when viewing it on a mobile. Is there any way to fix this?

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Elise, unfortunately that’s not something we can control via the template. However if you contact Shopstyle Collective’s support team they will be able to check that for you.

    Hello,

Is there a way to add the shop widget to a “post template” so it shows for each post on the homepage? I currently have it showing on each individual blogpost, however, I’d like it to show on the homepage posts as well. I have the Opulence theme.

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Sorry I just noticed you were asking about Blogger rather than WordPress. This is not possible on Blogger, sadly

  8. Tee

Hi, I tried adding “Shop my post” to a test post. It works for the post, however, it also added random texts to the slider’s title. Is there a way for me to fix the this?

    Thank you,

    T

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Tee, unfortunately Blogger is pretty stupid when it comes to this type of feature. The only way around it is to ensure that there is some text in the post content before the shopping widget. Then Blogger will use that text instead of the code.

  9. Hannah

Hey I’m using opulence template. When I show the mobile view it doesn’t include my Instagram and widgets I have at the bottom which are shown on my web view. I know I can have them as they’re on the example from when I bought it. How can I edit it to add them? Thank you

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Hannah, Blogger doesn’t display all gadgets on mobile by default, however you can add them to your mobile layout via the steps in this guide.

  10. Hannah

Hi, I’m tying to re add the shop style widget to my blog front page but when I add it the widget takes up half the screen and the font is wrong. Even when I try adding the smallest size widget. I know it works as had it before but can’t seem to get it back.
    Thank you,
    Hannah

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Hannah, which service did you use the create the widget? Are you able to send a link to your site?

      1. Hannah

I used shopstyle collective which was on the set up page for my blog. My blog is http://www.misshannahsarah.co.uk. However, I don’t have it set up right now as it looks awful when it’s up so I’ve deleted the widget. Shall I send you a pic of what I mean?

        1. Phil (pipdig)

Did you remove the gadget called “Shop my Wardrobe” from the Layout after the template was installed? If so, you can re-add this by re-installing the template. If I understand correctly, I think the problem you’ve described will be solved if you use the gadget that cam with the template rather than a normal “HTML” gadget.

          1. Hannah

If o re download the template will it remove parts of my blog that’m I’ve changed and added ?

            1. Phil (pipdig)

It would reset any changes made in the “Theme” section of your dashboard. So that’s things like colours and font changes. You may wish to take a note of any changes like that so you can re-apply them afterwards. You’ll keep all your widgets, pages and content.

              1. Hannah

I have re applied the template and the pre made widget appeared when I copy in the HTML coding the sizing is still wrong.

                1. Phil (pipdig)

Unfortunately there won’t be anything else we can do via the template. However now that we know the template widget is in use, we can confirm that the sizing issue is not coming from the template. Are you sure you’ve selected suitable sizing options from the settings within Shopstyle? If you contact their support team they will be able to assist you with that.

                  1. Hannah

Yeah I’ve got it set up now and it’s okay size for mobile view and web view however if you view it on your phone not on the phone view but web view it’s still ridiculous sizing. Thanks anyway

                    1. Phil (pipdig)

If you’d like to send a link to your site I can take a look. I might be able to spot where the issue is coming from.

                    2. Phil (pipdig)

If I understand correctly, would you like the widget to fit the space fully from side to side? If so, this is indeed something you would need to configure via the settings within Shopstyle. You can change the size of the widget and products there I believe. It might take some trial and error make it fit perfectly.

                    3. Hannah

The problem is when you view it on a mobile but the web version not the mobile view it only two items will fit on the page because it’s so big. However if you look at it on a laptop it fits a few on how I want it. Thanks for helping anyway I appreciate it

                    4. Phil (pipdig)

Ah ok, hmm yeah I’m not really sure what the best solution will be for that. This is a mixture of Shopstyle and Blogger not integrating very well. I don’t think anyone from Blogger will be able to help, however if you contact Shopstyle they might be able to suggest something.

  11. Chelsea Johnson

How do I activate the “shop my wardrobe” slider at the top of my page like the Holly & Weave theme that I currently have has on the demo?

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Chelsea, you can do this via the “Holly & Weave and Opulence Templates” section above.

  12. Roxanne carr

    Hi,
I am using the Opulence theme, I have tried to add a Shop my style at the top of my page which I can do but weirdly the heading goes to the left hand side of my page instead of in the middle with two lines either side.

Please could you advise what I might be doing wrong or how to fix it?

    Thank you,
    Roxy

    1. Phil (pipdig)

Hi Roxanne, it looks like the “Shop my wardrobe” gadget which comes pre-installed in the template has been removed. If you re-install the template it will re-add that for you. You can then copy the contents of your “Shop my style” gadget into that gadget and change the title.
