Blogger: How to change the number of posts displayed

Note: If you are using a grid based layout and find that posts are missing, please see the note at the end of this article.

You can change the number of posts displayed on the homepage and categories. Follow the steps below to do this:

1. Go to the “Settings” page in your dashboard:

2. Go to the “Posts and comments” section:

3. Edit the number at the top of the page:

Also make sure that “posts” is selected in the dropdown next to it.

“I’ve changed the setting, why is it not working?!?”

Please see this article if you find that the number of posts is not displaying correctly.

I could only find a “WordPress: dropdown menu” topic so I’ll try my luck here for Blogger :-). I’m interested in either buying the Equinox or Firefly template, however, I need a template that can do a 3 level dropdown menu like this:

    < destinations
    < cambodia
    < laos
    < south-africa

In your live demo's I can only see a level 2 dropdown menu. Is this possible will both templates (on desktop and mobile)?

Hi there! This is possible on Blogger, however it will require the menu to be converted to HTML. Are you ok with editing HTML to control your menu items? If so, this will be no problem. However it will mean you can’t setup dropdown menus via this easier method.

Hi! Can I get support from you to do that in HTML or not?

I have read somewhere that a three level menu should be possible through Blogger by just using two “_ _” signs but that it wasn’t always supported by templates. Guess it isn’t that easy though:-).

We wouldn’t be able to set that up under our free support of the theme. However we may be able to set the menu HTML as part of an additional service. You’re welcome to use the ‘contact us’ button at the top of this page if you’d be interested in this.

Hello! I have a problem with the template with the number of entries, in Sideber bar and in the central position. Sideber where the entries are shown, I put in the configuration 6 and only 4, if I put 5 only 3 and in both cases one of them the title is placed on top of the previous one.

I happen to something similar in main columm I post 5 post and only shows me 3 regardless of the number of posts I put, I put 4 out 3, I put 6 out 3, What’s happening? Otherwise everything works perfectly, thank you. This happens to me as soon as I install it.

I do not know if I could explain if I could attach an image I would see it soon

Hi Sonia, it sounds like you’re experiencing this issue. There is a fix on that page which you can try.
